Warranty
At Customresintable, we stand behind the materials and workmanship of every table we make. Each table is inspected before shipment, and if a manufacturing issue develops, we’re here to help.
This limited warranty explains what is covered, what is excluded, and how to request service.
Warranty Period & Coverage
Customresintable provides a 1-year limited warranty beginning on the date of delivery for our custom epoxy resin tables, river tables, solid wood tables, tabletops, and the table bases, legs, and hardware we supply, unless different terms are clearly disclosed before purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal indoor residential or commercial use.
Custom and made-to-order tables are covered by this warranty even though they are not eligible for change-of-mind returns under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
What Is Covered
Covered defects may include:
-
Peeling or failure of the tabletop finish caused by defective materials or improper application
-
Structural defects in the tabletop resulting from manufacturing or workmanship
-
Abnormal separation between wood and epoxy resin caused by a material or manufacturing defect
-
Manufacturing defects in table bases or legs supplied by Customresintable
-
Defective mounting points, hardware, or structural components supplied with the table
-
Other material or workmanship defects that affect the table’s intended use
We review each claim using the order details, photographs, videos, and other relevant information to understand the cause and determine an appropriate remedy.
Natural variations, ordinary wear, and damage caused by improper use are addressed separately below.
How We Resolve Covered Issues
Depending on the nature and extent of a covered defect, we may provide:
-
Repair materials or replacement hardware
-
Replacement parts, such as an affected tabletop, base, or leg
-
Repair instructions and remote assistance
-
A local professional repair approved by us
-
A replacement table when repair is not practical
If repair or replacement cannot reasonably resolve a covered defect, we will discuss an appropriate refund or another remedy consistent with applicable law.
For an approved warranty claim, we cover the repair materials or replacement parts we supply and their standard shipping. Any professional labor or other expenses we agree to cover will be confirmed in writing before the work begins.
Third-party repairs that you expect us to reimburse must receive our written approval in advance. On-site visits, table moving, installation, and other third-party services are not automatically included.
If we require a table or component to be returned for a verified covered defect, we will provide instructions and arrange or cover the necessary return freight. Do not ship your table or any parts back without contacting us first.
We will explain the proposed solution and estimated timing once we have reviewed your claim. Custom replacement components may require additional production time.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Email support@customresintable.com when you notice a potential defect.
Please include:
-
Your order number or other proof of purchase
-
A description of the issue and when you first noticed it
-
Clear photos of the affected area
-
A photo of the entire table
-
A short video, if it helps show the problem
We may ask for additional information about assembly, use, or care to help identify the cause.
Please contact us before attempting a major repair or modification so we can document the table’s condition and discuss the next steps. If the issue affects stability or safe use, stop using the table until it has been assessed.
Report issues promptly during the warranty period. Nothing in this section limits any additional rights available under applicable law.
What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover ordinary wear or damage caused by:
-
Scratches, dents, stains, chips, impacts, or accidents
-
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or use beyond the table’s intended purpose
-
Improper assembly, installation, storage, or handling
-
Moving or transporting the table after delivery
-
Outdoor use unless the table is expressly described as suitable for it
-
Excessive moisture, extreme dryness, or substantial changes in temperature or humidity
-
Prolonged direct sunlight or excessive UV exposure
-
Direct heat sources or hot objects placed on the tabletop
-
Harsh chemicals, unsuitable cleaners, or abrasive materials
-
Improper repairs, alterations, or modifications
-
Failure to follow the care and assembly instructions supplied with the table
These exclusions apply to damage caused by the listed conditions. They do not exclude an unrelated manufacturing defect.
Using an independent repair professional does not automatically void your warranty. However, damage caused by an improper repair or modification is not covered.
Shipping damage and incorrect deliveries are handled under our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy. Please report them as soon as possible after delivery.
Natural Wood Characteristics
Every slab has its own grain, color, knots, and live edges. These details give each table its individual character.
Natural characteristics generally do not qualify as manufacturing defects, including:
-
Differences in grain, figure, and wood tone
-
Knots, burls, and mineral streaks
-
Irregular live edges
-
Natural voids and markings
-
Small, stable checks naturally present in the slab
-
Minor differences from photographs or samples
These characteristics must remain consistent with the product description and approved design and must not compromise structural integrity or normal use.
A substantial crack, unstable tabletop, or other structural problem will not automatically be dismissed as a natural characteristic.
Wood Movement & Environmental Conditions
Solid wood expands and contracts as temperature and humidity change. Minor seasonal movement or checking can occur without indicating a defect.
Keep your table in a reasonably stable indoor environment, away from prolonged moisture, direct heat, and extreme dryness.
Normal seasonal movement and damage caused by unsuitable environmental conditions are not covered. However, significant cracking, warping, or separation resulting from defective materials or workmanship may be covered and should be submitted for review.
Epoxy Resin Characteristics
Our epoxy resin tables are individually poured and finished. Slight differences in resin patterns, transparency, color, and the transition between wood and resin may occur.
These variations are not considered defects when they are consistent with the approved design and do not affect the finished surface, structural integrity, durability, or normal use.
Minor casting marks or small bubbles may occasionally be visible on the underside of the tabletop. They are generally not covered when they do not affect the top surface, strength, or function of the table and do not conflict with an underside finish specifically agreed upon for your order.
If your project requires a particular finish on both sides of the tabletop, discuss it with us before approving the design.
Resin Color & Aging
Resin may gradually change in tone or clarity with age. Prolonged sunlight and UV exposure can accelerate this process.
Gradual changes consistent with normal aging, or changes caused by excessive sunlight or UV exposure, are not considered manufacturing defects.
Unusual or premature discoloration, clouding, or deterioration caused by defective materials or manufacturing may qualify for coverage and should be submitted for review.
Residential & Commercial Use
The same 1-year limited warranty applies to covered defects under normal indoor residential and commercial use, unless different terms were disclosed and agreed upon before purchase.
This includes tables used in homes, offices, conference rooms, restaurants, hospitality spaces, and retail environments, provided the table is suitable for its intended use.
Frequent use can lead to faster surface wear. Ordinary wear from commercial use is not a manufacturing defect, but commercial use alone does not exclude an otherwise covered defect.
Table Care & Maintenance
To help protect your table:
-
Keep it indoors unless it is specifically rated for outdoor use.
-
Maintain reasonably stable indoor temperature and humidity.
-
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and nearby heat sources.
-
Wipe up spills promptly with a soft cloth.
-
Clean with a soft, lightly damp cloth and a cleaner suitable for the finish.
-
Avoid harsh solvents, abrasive cleaners, and scouring pads.
-
Use trivets under hot cookware and coasters or placemats when appropriate.
-
Avoid dragging sharp or rough objects across the tabletop.
-
Check mounting hardware periodically and follow the supplied instructions when tightening it.
-
Use appropriate assistance or equipment when moving a heavy table.
Follow any product-specific instructions provided with your order. If you are unsure about a cleaner, repair method, or assembly step, contact us before proceeding.
Your Legal Rights
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any implied warranties, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
